Why bring this class to your members?

This class was the highest attended "Latte & Learn" hosted by the Kansas City Regional Association of REALTORS®... by a long shot. Nearly 100 attended.Your members are starved for information about both video marketing and using video to enhance the client experience.Very few local agents who use video well are willing to share that knowledge with their competition. The agents who ARE willing to teach this are generally online authors or coaches looking to encourage agents to buy their product. I am not.

What will your members learn?

This three- to six-hour class can be offered in several different ways depending on the needs of your members and the rules of the state.For example, I can show your members proven methods of using video for lead generation on Facebook and YouTube including: the secrets to success, strategies, rules, equipment and basics of smart phone photography.I can teach a similar class, but replace lead generation with strategies to use video in service to their clients.Or I can merge the two and talk about both.

As REALTORS®, we need to "show up" where our potential clients are. We find out where their attention is focused, and we place ourselves there.We door-knock because we might meet them at home and talk about houses. We hold open houses because potential clients go to open houses. We send direct mail flyers or email messages because people are opening their mail and viewing their inbox.ATTENTION IS ON VIDEO right now. Our potential clients are searching for real estate videos. They are scrolling and stopping to watch videos. They spend hours per week on social media - dominated by video. It's in your member's best interest to know how to capitalize on this certainty.

The class is full of hands-on, practical strategies to use video to its fullest. Your members will even shoot and publish their first video right there in class. It is interactive, educational and entertaining.In three hours they will learn why video is important, how to get over the fear of video, practical steps to take to get started and the equipment they need for success.If I have more time, over six hours we can do more hands-on video production, script writing and we can prepare a video marketing plan ready for implementation.
